Weeks 2 and 3

2.2: The Skeletal System

This part of the module is the introduction to the skeletal system. In this section we will learn how the skeleton is organized and how bones are structured. Here we will get an idea of how the skeleton provides a framework for movement and muscular attachment.

In addition we will become familiar with the joints of the body. By gaining an understanding of the types of joints and how they move we will have insight to the capabilities and limitations of motion in exercise.
