| This
part of the module is the introduction to the
skeletal system. In this section we will learn
how the skeleton is organized and how bones are
structured. Here we will get an idea of how the
skeleton provides a framework for movement and
muscular attachment.
In addition we will become familiar
with the joints of the body. By gaining an understanding
of the types of joints and how they move we will
have insight to the capabilities and limitations
of motion in exercise.

Read Laboratory Experience 4 at the end of Chapter 2 of your text. Follow the directions given, using your word processing program
(i.e. Microsoft Word) to reproduce the table on the
following page (page 41). (You will need
to use the table commands and will be reproducing the table twice.) Laboratory Experience 4 refers you to exercise 5.4 in appendix 3. Complete the assignment
and submit the documents to your mentor
by Sunday of Week
