How many college credits is it worth?
The University will award up to 6 credit(s) in course equivalencies at Thomas Edison State University for successfully completing select Microsoft certifications. A student's credit eligibility is determined according to the submission of appropriate documentation as well as the documented date of successful certification completion. If you completed your certification outside the effective dates listed in the following table, check the notes below the table for any reference to an earlier University review.

How do I get started?

Follow this procedure to verify your certification with our Registrar's Office:
To receive credit for your Microsoft Certification, please email a verifiable link to your official Microsoft Learn transcript to transcripts@tesu.edu.
To do this:
1. Sign into your Learn profile (or create a Microsoft Learn profile if you haven't).
2. Select "Transcript" from the menu on the left.
3. Select "Transcript Settings" and then select "Show legal name" and "Show contact email."
4. If you are sharing a link for the first time, select "Share link" and then select "Create link." If you've previously generated a link, select "Copy link."
5. Paste the link to your Microsoft Learn transcript into an email addressed to the transcripts@tesu.edu.
6. Please type "Microsoft Learn Transcript direct Link" in the Subject of the email.
7. Please include your name and TESU student ID in the body of the email along with the direct link to transcripts@tesu.edu.
