NUR-5310 Nursing Informatics: Concepts and IssuesNursing informatics combines knowledge and skills from nursing science, computer science, information science, and cognitive science to design and implement automated systems that support the nursing process in the delivery of healthcare services. Within this course, major topics related to nursing informatics and related fields will be explored. Emphasis is placed on developing an understanding of how automation is used to manage information in healthcare and the nurse's role in the process.
