NUR-3320 Nursing Science Foundations: Theory, Ethics, and Practice
This course examines the development of clinical judgment as the cornerstone of clinical and moral reasoning, guiding students in acquiring and synthesizing knowledge to make sound decisions in complex healthcare settings. Through case studies, interactive discussions, and reflective practice, students will engage with ethical principles and professional values, learning to think critically, act ethically, and provide patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism. In addition, this course addresses the importance of prioritizing self-care to build resilience and the capacity to provide optimal care to others.
