TES-1120 Introduction to Project Management
This foundational course in project management is designed for anyone who has not yet managed complex projects in a professional, social, or private environment. Project management skills are critical for an organization's competitive advantage. This course will examine and explain several pragmatic tools and applications for managing successful projects. Key topics include the functions of a project manager, essential elements for any successful project, project planning, and schedule management. Other areas covered in the course include project risks, communication, project quality management, managing difficult project stakeholders, and successful project closure.
