Armed Forces Children's Foundation Fund

The Armed Forces Children's Education Fund is a non-profit corporation to financially assist the needs of surviving children of U.S. Service Members who lost their lives on or after October 7, 2001.

Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation

The Children of Fallen Patriots Foundations mission is to provide college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. We bridge the gap between existing sources of grants and scholarships and the total cost of college.

Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) Scholarships

The Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) is offering three scholarships of $1,000 each to United States Service members (active duty/veteran) or spouses of a Service member working towards the completion of their first higher education degree while attending a CCME membership institution [note: Thomas Edison State University is a member]. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 or more hours (units) and a cumulative 2.5 GPA if you are seeking an associate or bachelor degree; you must have 6 or more hours (units) and a cumulative 3.0 GPA if you are seeking a graduate degree. 

Award Amount: Three $1,000 awards (one each for active, retired and spouse)

George Sink, P.A Injury Lawyers Veterans & Military Family Scholarship

The George Sink, P.A. Injury Lawyers firm is offering a biannual $1,000 scholarship to U.S. college student who is an active duty servicemember, a veteran, or a spouse or child of an active duty or retired service member. High school seniors and graduates as well as undergraduate and graduate students with a minimum 3.0 GPA may apply. andidates must submit a 500- to 1,000-word essay along with their application.

The Hill & Ponton Veteran's Scholarship awards four merit based $1000 scholarships to veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Van Sant's Annual $1,000 Veteran's Scholarship

Van Sant Law, LLC is offering an annual $1,000 educational scholarship, available to all veterans of the United States Armed Forces. The scholarship is available to all U.S. military veterans attending a college or university who have an honorable discharge. A winner will be chosen based on the completed application form as well as a brief essay about their military experience, their educational goals, and their future aspirations. 

Award Amount: $1,000

Veterans of Foreign Wars Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship

The VFW and one of its major supporters, Sport Clips Haircuts, have again partnered to help our veterans and their families. The VFW's "Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship" will provide service members and veterans with the financial assistance they need to complete their educational goals without incurring excessive student loan debt. Applicants must be retired, honorably discharged, active duty, or a member of the National Guard or Reserve, have completed Basic Training and follow-on training (Advanced Individual Training, Technical school, etc.), separated with or currently hold a military rank of E-5 or below, demonstrate a need for financial assistance, and participate in, be accepted to or currently enrolled in a VA-approved program or school at an accredited post-secondary institution. 

Award Amount: Up to $5,000

Application Deadline: January 1st and August 1st

Veterans United Foundation Scholarship

Veterans United Foundation has established the Veterans United Foundation Scholarship program. The program's primary goal is to assist military service members and their families by awarding up to three (3) scholarships to eligible recipients. Each award is for up to $20,000 and is nonrenewable. 

Award Amount: Three awards up to $20,000
