Armed Forces Children's Foundation Fund

The Armed Forces Children's Education Fund is a non-profit corporation to financially assist the needs of surviving children of U.S. Service Members who lost their lives on or after October 7, 2001.

Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation

The Children of Fallen Patriots Foundations mission is to provide college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. We bridge the gap between existing sources of grants and scholarships and the total cost of college.

Hill & Ponton Veterans' Scholarship

The Hill & Ponton Veteran's Scholarship awards four merit based $1000 scholarships to veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. 

Award Amount: Four $1,000 awards

Mid-South Advisory Council on Military Education (ACME) Scholarship

The Mid-South Advisory Council on Military Education is pleased to announce the 2024 Fall Scholarship Program. Three $750 scholarships will be awarded to students in the following categories: (1) Active Duty Military Member, (2) Military Veteran, and (3) Military Spouse or Dependent. Essays are due no later than November 1, 2024 at 11:59 CST. Recipients will be announced November 11, 2024 on the Mid-South ACME website and social media.

    Only one application per person will be accepted. Categories include:
  • Active Duty Military Member
  • Military Veteran
  • Military Spouse or Dependent
 

Award Amount: $750

NAIMES Student Spotlight Award

The NAIMES Student Spotlight Award celebrates the academic achievements of military students in the Armed Forces Voluntary Education programs. NAIMES celebrates student achievements across the Armed Forces and fosters scholarly communication between students, faculty, and the military communities we serve. Participation in the Student Spotlight Award provides students with opportunities to gain valuable experience in both oral and written presentations of their work.

Eligibility: Active-duty personnel, veterans, and active-duty military spouses from all service branches are invited to apply. ROTC students and military academy students are not eligible to apply. Must be current students seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree.

Van Sant's Annual $1,000 Veteran's Scholarship

Van Sant Law, LLC is offering an annual $1,000 educational scholarship, available to all veterans of the United States Armed Forces. The scholarship is available to all U.S. military veterans attending a college or university who have an honorable discharge. A winner will be chosen based on the completed application form as well as a brief essay about their military experience, their educational goals, and their future aspirations. 

Award Amount: $1,000

Veterans of Foreign Wars Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship

The VFW and one of its major supporters, Sport Clips Haircuts, have again partnered to help our veterans and their families. The VFW's "Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship" will provide service members and veterans with the financial assistance they need to complete their educational goals without incurring excessive student loan debt. Applicants must be retired, honorably discharged, active duty, or a member of the National Guard or Reserve, have completed Basic Training and follow-on training (Advanced Individual Training, Technical school, etc.), separated with or currently hold a military rank of E-5 or below, demonstrate a need for financial assistance, and participate in, be accepted to or currently enrolled in a VA-approved program or school at an accredited post-secondary institution. 

Award Amount: Up to $5,000

Veterans United Foundation Scholarship

The Veterans United Foundation Scholarship is awarded through the Veterans United Foundation. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up of financial contributions from the employees of Veterans United Home Loans. Our employees strongly believe in supporting our communities, our military and their families. We will be awarding up to 5 one-time scholarships for up to $50,000 each for this upcoming semester to eligible students. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be a surviving spouse or child of a deceased servicemember or Veteran.  

Award Amount: Five awards up to $50,000

Application Deadline: Spring and Fall
