NUR-6340 Healthcare Professional Precepting: Ensuring Career Success
This course focuses on teaching and learning in the clinical learning environment. The course demonstrates how a preceptor-preceptee model can facilitate retention, satisfaction, and clinical judgment in healthcare professionals. Healthcare professionals in the preceptor role are enabled to address the needs of preceptees who are new to a practice or experiencing a different practice environment. Precepting is explored as a mutually reflective system that benefits the preceptor, the preceptee, and the healthcare organization.
