NUR-7070 Primary Care Diagnosis, Management, and Health Promotion

This course will provide students with the skills to use clinical decision making, advanced assessment skills, and evidence-based guidelines to promote health and prevent disease for diverse individuals, communities and populations. Students will develop clinical reasoning skills to begin to formulate differential diagnoses, utilize diagnostic tools, and create evidenced based management of health problems. Students will apply evidenced-based practice strategies to perform safe and accurate advanced assessment skills and procedures in primary care.
