NUR-7620 Family System Psychopathology and Psychotherapeutics Across the Lifespan

This course will explore acute and chronic psychiatric disorders and their impact on mental health. Students explore lifespan therapeutic modalities in the context of diverse individual, group, and family therapy interventions. Targeted and focused interventions including integrated and person-centered therapies will also be analyzed. This course will include complimentary and ancillary therapeutics and their contribution to patient stabilization of mental health and well-being.
