EDD-8200 Seminars in Cultures of Change: Anatomies of Transition and Transformation

This course examines organizational change through a scholar-practitioner orientation. Students study the historical arc of philosophic, theoretical, and applied strategies, methods, and tools of change as evidenced in key historical events. The course's case-based approach enables students to evaluate the change agentry of select leaders in history, their strategies, and decisions associated with structuring, implementing, and enabling change within the uniqueness of their culture, time, and context. In addition, the course explores the psycho-dynamic structures associated with change emphasizing cognitive, emotional, and behavioral dimensions of individual, group, and societal change and transformation.
