HUS-1011 Leadership in Human Services


Leadership in Human Services invites students to step into the role of a changemaker. This course explores what it means to lead with purpose in organizations that serve both people and communities. Students will dive into leadership styles, sharpen their administrative skills, and discover how to inspire teams, manage resources, and navigate complex systems to meet human needs. Through hands-on activities and real-world case studies, students will explore topics like human resources, grant writing, legal and ethical decision-making, risk management, and financial planning - all within the context of human services. Whether students are aiming to lead a nonprofit, launch a community initiative, or grow within your organization, this course equips them with the tools to lead with impact.
